About the Artist
Dusica Djokovic is a Serbian Cypriot studio potter.
She is known for her unique decorative art, intricate craftsmanship, and distinctive artistic voice.
Her journey into art began in the summer of 2017, when she started painting. Gradually, her artistic expression transitioned from painting to creating artwork with polymer clay at the beginning of 2018.
The first works of art Djokovic created using polymer clay were miniature roses; later, she proceeded to make various pieces of jewelry and decorations.
Through continuous work, dedication, passion, and practice, her skills evolved, techniques improved, and creative time grew longer. During the time of her profound personal change, art became more than a passion-it became a form of renewal, a way to transform emotions into something tangible and lasting.
Listening to her inner voice, Djokovic creates beautiful craftsmanship from 100 percent polymer clay by shaping, firing, and decorating with her sophisticated Cane Work technique. Her pottery is full of symbols, beautiful colours, details, and stories.
She set up her studio in Belgrade, Serbia, and over time, she created a private collection with one-of-a-kind pieces, which was presented on Radio Television of Serbia in Edu Global.
Djokovic is a self-taught artist; her artwork is made through inspiration, imagination, and emotion.
Her mission is to create art that the world can enjoy.
